Knowing and understandingthe Word of God is one of the most precious gifts and resposibilities God has blessed us with. The Bible’s scriptures hold countless nuggets of encouragement and direction that aare as relevant to our lives today as they were when God influenced their initial writing.
In our pursuit of Christ-like-ness we must engage the Word of God. To read it, to consume it, to strive to understand it and to learn to live by its guidance. In our Sunday morning class we’re starting to collect several memory verses so I wanted to make sure everyone had a place to reference them. These scriptures all refer to the eternal value of the Word and were chosen to remind us of its modern relevance.
 Psalms 119:11
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I may not sin against thee.II Timothy 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiraton of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. Psalm 119:105
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

where is the rest of the memory verses from the other weeks?? each one is important you know those are the really old ones where are the new oh my goodness, thats where all those plantinum streaks came from your getting old and you can’t remeber what you need to do anymore you guys need to update and not to mention i think you need to write this down by the way I think you need to update the pics they are getting kind of old ya know what I mean we need a new youth activity. just thought I would let ya guys know what I was thinkin okay I think i betta go now!!
